16April- The First of its kind

News channels are known for sensationalize anything now a days. Mysterious Sania and Shoaib' weddding to Kochi IPL contract controversy,the past full week all the news channels had common high drama stories to cover. IPL as always steals limelight but for a change not for a good reason. I don't think Modi should have disclosed any of the internal details to the Media/ Public without a prior permission. Anyways this is my personal opinion. I have high regards for Mr. Shashi Tharoor. When he came back to India after serving the UN for almost 4 years, we had high hopes from him. He started well by winning his member of parliament election with almost a lakh votes margin. He was also awarded state ministry of external affairs. But suddenly after that controversies started surrounding him. Be it his statement related to "cattle class" ,living in a 5 star hotel for almost 4 months or be it statement saying Saudi Arabia should interfere between Indo-Pak talks, he has always been a preferred pick for the opposition and indian media.
However, his latest IPL controversy seems to have put the Congress party in a awkward situation where they would never want to go. The opposition had already surrounded the government on the issue of price rise and Dantewada massacre, and now they need to take care of Shashi's mess also. Shashi has clarified to the nation saying that charge against him is totally baseless and he had never mention anyones name to Modi when he phoned him. He also said that Ms. Sunanda should not be seen as a proxy for him as she herself is a very capable person. I feel truth will come out one day if not now. One can not deny that all our politicians use/misuse their power at their will. One thing is for sure Congress is backing Shashi quite strongly. It is very much evident from the fact that Sharad Powarji issuing an statement, I-T raid at IPLs office etc.

I feel a normal indian citizen do not really care if Shashi Tharoor buys IPL team or use a proxy like Sunanda, all we care about is that no one in the country should sleep hungry.

By the way opposition is planning a cut motion against the government. Right now I don't know about this, but soon I will read about this and let you all know.
